How to Book Your Online Counselling Session
Booking an online counselling session with us is simple. You can either use our online booking scheduler or contact our team directly. Our therapists are generally available for online appointments on Tuesday and Friday afternoons. If these times don’t work for you, please reach out to us directly, and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.

Currently, our online counselling service is available to residents of Alberta and Yukon, and you must be physically located in one of these provinces during your session.

Booking online counselling with us is straightforward:
- Reach out to Wholesome Psychology to schedule your appointment.
- Once confirmed, you will receive an email with a link to join your online session.
- Click the link at your scheduled time to connect with your therapist. Review our privacy policy and be ready for your session!
Privacy and Security of Your Online Sessions
Your privacy is our top priority. We use OnCall Health, a fully encrypted platform designed to protect your personal information. This platform complies with Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). OnCall Health is hosted on Canadian servers and ensures that all your sessions are confidential and secure.
To access your online session, all you need is a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a stable internet connection.
Preparing for Your Online Counselling Appointment
To ensure a smooth and successful online therapy experience, please follow these guidelines:
- Set up your OnCall Health profile and complete the Consent for Online Treatment at least 30 minutes before your appointment.
- Download the OnCall App or use the latest version of Google Chrome if you plan to use a web browser.
- Ensure you have a strong and stable internet connection. Avoid using bandwidth for streaming or downloading during your session.
- Find a private, comfortable location for your session and use headphones or earbuds for the best sound quality.
Once you're set up, relax and prepare to meet with your therapist in a space that feels comfortable to you!
For families, children, or couples therapy, additional consent forms must be completed before booking your appointment.
