As a practicum student under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist, I am currently offering counselling services at a reduced rate. This role provides a valuable learning opportunity, allowing me to deliver compassionate care and contribute meaningfully to client’s well-being.
With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I bring both practical knowledge and an educated approach to healing. Much of my work has been alongside individuals impacted by domestic and sexual violence. My background includes working for several community organizations, including a residential treatment centre for survivors of sexual abuse and organizations that strive towards a future free of gender based violence. I continue to
be guided by a strong commitment to trauma-informed and culturally sensitive care. I work with children, teens, adults, seniors, and couples from all backgrounds.
My intention is to create a safe space where people can slow down, speak freely, and reconnect with themselves. The work I have done and continue to do is guided by a deep belief in people’s capacity to heal and grow. My approach is integrative—drawing from evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, IFS and more, while still emphasizing genuine connection. At the heart of my practice are the values that matter deeply to me: building stronger and safer communities, supporting personal growth, and cultivating and maintaining meaningful relationships. Therapy with me is collaborative, intentional and grounded in respect for your own personal story. Thank you for considering me for support on your journey.
