Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and doing so reflects strength, courage, and a readiness for change. The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where you can express yourself freely, gain deeper insight, and take meaningful steps toward personal growth. I am grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside you on your journey.
I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor with nearly 10 years of experience supporting children, youth, adults, and families in both school and community settings. As a former educator, I understand the demands of the teaching profession and the impact those demands can have on staff and students alike. Much of my work has involved supporting diverse populations, individuals navigating complex emotional, behavioural, relational, and developmental challenges.
My therapeutic approach is person‑centered and strength‑based. I believe each individual carries inherent resilience, wisdom, and capacity for growth. I integrate evidence‑based modalities by tailoring each approach to meet the unique needs of every client. Therapy with me is collaborative and flexible; we work together to identify goals, build practical strategies, and deepen insight at a pace that feels safe and supportive. When needed, I also collaborate closely within multidisciplinary teams, allowing me to offer a broader, thoughtful, and holistic perspective.
I value trust, authenticity, compassion, and cultural sensitivity in therapeutic relationships. Individuals already possess deep inner strength and resiliency; they simply need space, support, and encouragement to reconnect with it. This understanding shapes my approach: therapy is not about fixing you, but about uncovering and strengthening what is already within you. If we work together, I will show up with patience, professionalism, and genuine care committed to supporting you in reaching the goals that matter most to you.
