As a therapist, there are number of ways to approach therapy, however, in my estimation what is needed is the ability to increase your own awareness, be in a room that does not judge you, and be empowered enough to find the courage to action the things life requires of you. In order to do so, it is my role to provide you with notable insight and tools to be able to befriend your mind, cultivate our therapeutic relationship, and challenge you to think, act, and see the world more authentically in line with your goals.
I utilize a number of different approaches ranging from Adlerian psychology, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solutions-Focused Therapy (SFT), amongst others. As with the different therapeutic approaches, I see a wide-range of clientele ranging in scope; from individuals struggling with anxiety, stress, depression, to individuals who feel directionless and lost, to couple’s counselling, trauma, etc.
I aim to meet my clients where they are at, find out where they wish to go, foster their self-compassion, and build in them the courage, insight, and belief to arrive there.
