Hi there! My name is Jaclyn (she/her), and I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist dedicated to supporting individuals and couples from diverse faiths, cultural backgrounds, and members of the LGBTQ2S+ community. I am especially passionate about individual and relationship counselling, sex therapy, and birth and reproductive trauma. I believe that our intimate relationships and sexuality are central to our overall health and well-being, and I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where curiosity, exploration, and healing can unfold.
In my work, I support clients navigating concerns such as relationship challenges, boundaries, communication and conflict, infidelity, low sexual desire, sexual pain, orgasm difficulties, erectile dysfunction, sexual self-esteem, infertility, pregnancy termination, reproductive loss, and traumatic birth experiences. I also provide counselling for anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, stress, anger, and emotional regulation.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. I have completed additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Gottman Couples Method (Levels 1 & 2, including Affairs and Betrayals), and American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) training in Sex Therapy and Birth and Reproductive Trauma. I also integrate perspectives and interventions from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, psychoeducation, and mindfulness-based
therapies to tailor care to each client’s unique needs.
Above all, I am committed to fostering a therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to move toward meaningful change and deeper connection in their lives and relationships.
