Registered Psychologist

Whether you are new to counselling or returning, I hope you can find and connect with any therapist that provides you with what you need to explore your current challenges, highlight your strengths, and discover your own path towards growth and healing.

I have over 6 years of experience working with adolescents, between ages 12-17, and their families undergoing a variety of difficult challenges. I have supported those undergoing various mental health struggles, such as trauma, ADHD, parent-child conflicts, attachment, grief, anger, identity, and self-esteem. Working in an in-patient, multi-disciplinary facility provided the opportunity for me to learn from and collaborate with a wide array of different professions and perspectives. This experience illuminated how important the holistic approach is, which fosters a more comprehensive outlook on both the origins and treatment of complex issues. I hope to take these teachings and incorporate it into our individual sessions, along with working with adolescents, couples, and families.

I take an eclectic approach to therapy, that is trauma-informed and culturally responsive, which allows me to be flexible to your unique needs as an individual when incorporating evidence-based treatments. I strongly believe the therapeutic relationship is of utmost importance, which is why I provide flexibility in sessions, space for vulnerability, along with humor when appropriate. I strive to always adhere to the three core principles from Carl Rogers – congruence, empathy, and unconditional positive regard; through these conditions, I hope to be able to provide you with a safe space for healing to flourish.
