As a practicum student under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist, I am currently offering counselling services at a reduced rate. This role provides a valuable learning opportunity, enabling me to deliver compassionate care and make a meaningful contribution to client well-being.
I bring more than a decade of experience in education and student support to my developing counselling practice. My background as both a teacher and a councillor has given me a strong foundation in working with youth, families, and multidisciplinary teams. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the complex challenges particularly around trauma, identity, and mental health. I approach counselling with curiosity, openness, and care, placing each client’s lived experiences at the centre of the therapeutic process.
My style is flexible and client-focused, drawing on therapeutic modalities that best support the individual rather than focusing on a single approach. I am especially interested in trauma-informed practice, solution-focused strategies, and CBT, while remaining open to learning and integrating other evidence-based methods. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard and understood. I would be grateful for the opportunity to support your journey with care that is collaborative and supportive.
