Magnetic Resonance Therapy (MeRT): A Personalized Approach to Brain Health
Magnetic Resonance Therapy (MeRT) is a cutting-edge, non-invasive treatment designed to support brain health and improve mental well-being. By utilizing personalized brain stimulation, MeRT offers a targeted solution for individuals seeking effective treatment for a variety of conditions.
What to Expect from the MeRT Treatment Process
The journey begins with a thorough clinical evaluation, which includes an Electroencephalogram (EEG). This test assesses brain activity, allowing the clinicians at NeuroMed to create a customized protocol tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Based on the EEG results, a personalized treatment plan is designed to optimize brain function and promote healing.
How MeRT Works
Once your protocol is established, you'll return to the NeuroMed office for your first MeRT session. Each treatment lasts approximately 30-35 minutes and is typically scheduled Monday through Friday. The initial phase of treatment generally spans two weeks, after which another EEG will be conducted to evaluate your response to the therapy. A follow-up clinical assessment will help determine whether the treatment is producing the desired results.
Duration and Effectiveness of MeRT Treatment
The total duration of treatment varies depending on the individual's response. Typically, a course of 6 to 8 weeks is recommended. After comparing the initial and final EEG results, as well as the clinical evaluations, the effectiveness of the therapy is assessed to ensure the most optimal approach for each person.
Conditions Treated with MeRT
NeuroMed's MeRT treatment has shown promising results in helping individuals with a range of conditions, including autism, traumatic brain injury (TBI), PTSD, anxiety, and depression. By addressing brain activity at a foundational level, MeRT aims to create lasting improvements in mental health and cognitive function.
