I am a dedicated provisional psychologist under the supervision of two experienced registered psychologists, bringing a wealth of experience in supporting children, youth, and adolescents. My background includes two years as a therapeutic assistant in behavioral therapy within the school system, where I worked closely with individuals navigating Autism Spectrum Disorder—an area I have been deeply passionate about throughout my educational journey. Currently, I am pursuing specialized training in play therapy to enhance my ability to connect with young clients in meaningful and developmentally appropriate ways.
My approach to therapy is client-centered and culturally sensitive, recognizing the unique strengths and qualities of each individual. I am passionate about creating a safe, trusting, and non-judgmental space where clients feel empowered to navigate life’s challenges. I draw from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment-Based Techniques, Play Therapy, and Gottman’s Couples Therapy to provide personalized and effective support. Additionally, I work with individuals healing from trauma, helping them process experiences and develop strategies for resilience and growth.
Beyond my clinical experience, I have a strong foundation in sports psychology, shaped by my years as a high-level soccer athlete. I competed as a student-athlete on the women’s soccer team throughout my undergraduate studies and played semi-professionally in Alberta. This background allows me to help athletes overcome mental barriers, enhance performance, and develop the mental resilience needed for success.
As I continue to grow in my career, my focus remains on providing compassionate, evidence-based care to children, youth, adolescents, and their families. Whether addressing behavioral concerns, emotional regulation, trauma, or performance-related struggles, I am committed to helping clients build confidence, develop coping strategies, and create meaningful change in their lives.
