Throughout my ten years of education and experience in the field of Social Work and Psychology, I have fostered a passion for working with youth, adults, couples, and families who struggle with a variety of mental health concerns including childhood trauma, anxiety, interpersonal relationship conflicts, self-esteem, depression, motivation, and others. Methods I practice from include a Trauma-Informed lens, the Gottman Method, Narrative Therapy, Attachment therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and a Solution-Focused lens.
As someone who believes we are not meant to walk through life on our own, our relationships with others and ourselves are constantly changing. With an authentic, warm, person-centered approach, I am passionate about helping individuals move towards healing and growth within themselves and others. I believe in forming a strong therapeutic relationship and safe space to allow individuals to feel free of judgement and recognized for their vulnerability and strength as I walk alongside them in their healing. Moreover, in couples counselling I aim to identify patterns, create emotional safety, intimate communication, and conflict resolution to bring relationships back to a place where they feel
connected, supported, and cherished.
I look forward to hearing your story, supporting you where you are at and helping you achieve your goals for therapy.
