If you’re considering therapy, something in your life may feel heavy, confusing, or disconnected and you’re looking for help figuring it out. My approach is relational, depth-oriented, trauma-informed, and grounded in a human-centred perspective. Together, we explore what may lie beneath the surface and create space for meaningful change.
I’m especially passionate about communication — it tells us about how we relate to others, to ourselves and how we make meaning in our lives. Drawing on graduate training in both Professional Communication and Counselling Psychology, I help clients organize their thoughts and explore how early experiences, attachment dynamics, culture, and emotional patterns shape relationships, work, and daily life.
Having immigrated from Guatemala to Canada as a child, I also understand the complexities of bicultural identity, belonging, and balancing differing cultural expectations while shaping a sense of self. Therapy can support you in expressing your needs, values, and boundaries more clearly while staying connected to yourself and others.
My 15-year career in Workplace Health also informs my work with professionals navigating burnout, workplace stress, medical leave, and reintegration into demanding environments. As a Certified Disability Management Professional, I can also support the return-to-work process.
If this approach resonates with you, I’d be happy to connect and explore whether working together feels like the right fit.
