As a practicum student under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist, I am currently offering counselling services at a reduced rate. This role provides a valuable learning opportunity, allowing me to deliver compassionate care and contribute meaningfully to client well-being.
Reaching out for support can be a meaningful first step, and I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. I currently offer reduced-rate counselling services as part of my practicum in Counselling Psychology, building on more than five years of experience providing direct mental health services as a Registered Occupational Therapist and Mental Health Therapist, working with adolescents, adults, and families across school, community, clinic, and crisis settings.
I believe that each person brings unique experiences, strengths, values, and circumstances to therapy, and my approach is collaborative and tailored to your individual needs and goals. I recognize that our relationships, families, identities, and environments shape how we experience the world, and I strive to understand these influences as part of our work together. My approach draws from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure. I have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent clients and those navigating the effects of trauma, as well as a range of emotional, relational, and life challenges
Whether you are an adolescent navigating challenges at home, school, or with peers, an adult working through personal or life challenges, or a couple hoping to strengthen your relationship, my goal is to support you in developing greater understanding and moving toward meaningful change. If you feel we may be a good fit, I would be honoured to support you on your journey.
