Angela Macdonald-Belanger

Registered Provisional Psychologist

I believe that when people feel heard, supported, and have access to the right tools, they can live a healthy and fulfilling life. Sometimes we need help to learn how to do this, and this is where I hope to support my clients. I have much experience working with diverse populations from all walks of life and have dedicated much of my life to serving vulnerable folks in non-profit, mental health and domestic violence services, as well as the public education system. Having worked with people aged five to eighty-five, I have experience supporting children, youth, and adults who wish to grow, heal, and lessen their distress.

I utilize a person-centred approach when working with clients, focusing on the relationships that people have with themselves and others, and the ways we relate to the complex environments we live in. I believe that all individuals are unique and, as a therapist, use compassion, curiosity, humour, and a variety of therapeutic techniques to facilitate healing.

Choosing a potential therapist to work with is a personal choice and requires you to take a leap of faith, I thank you for taking the time to read about and consider me for this trusted work.
