As a practicum student under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist, I am currently offering counselling services at a reduced rate. This role provides a valuable learning opportunity, allowing me to deliver compassionate care and contribute meaningfully to client well-being.
Reaching out for help can feel vulnerable, especially if you’re used to being the one who holds everything together. I strive to create a safe space where you can show up as your authentic self, without needing to hide parts of who you are or have everything figured out. I bring a background in social work spanning nearly a decade, including experience facilitating a group focused on anger and emotional responses. In this work, I supported clients in understanding their reactions and finding more effective ways of navigating them. My experience has shaped my understanding of how systems, relationships, trauma, and
life experiences intersect.
My approach is integrative, individualized, and grounded in a belief in each person’s intrinsic value and capacity for growth. My clinical practice is informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, and rooted in a person-centred foundation.
