Registered Provisional Psychologist

At times, life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, and it can be hard to know where to begin. I believe these moments of difficulty can also be moments of meaningful growth, and I feel honoured to walk alongside those who choose to share their stories with me.

I support clients with a wide range of concerns, with particular interest in relationship issues (including couples and other interpersonal relationships), trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, stress, self-esteem, depression, and personal and/or career growth. I am trained in the Gottman Method for relationship work and in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based approach for healing from trauma.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Alberta, where I contributed to research exploring identity and language development in adults and children. I later completed a Master of Counselling at City University, with a capstone project examining grief patterns in young adults navigating the end of romantic relationships. My volunteer work on the SACE crisis line also provided specialized training in supporting individuals who have experienced sexual trauma. These experiences have shaped my commitment to meeting clients with genuine empathy, respect, and curiosity.

In my practice, I draw from cognitive-behavioural, solution-focused, and person-centred approaches, tailoring each session to the unique needs of the individual. I strive to create a relaxed, collaborative space where creativity, humour, and reflection can support meaningful change. For clients who wish to incorporate spirituality into their healing, I am comfortable integrating that dimension as well. I have a special interest in supporting adolescents and young adults, while also enjoying work with children, adults, and couples. Whether you are navigating a major transition, processing past experiences, or seeking greater clarity and balance, I hope to offer support and practical tools along the way.
